About the Job
Work in an Agile development environment with the ability to design, develop and maintain software solutions to meet functional requirements of current and future product offerings using a combination of Microsoft .NET Core , .NET 4.x, WCF, WebAPI, Restful services, MVC ,MySQL , Kafka and AWS. Delivering results by providing hands-on solutions. Guide a team of software engineers to implementing solutions using VSS defined architecture & design patterns. Follow VSS defined software development practices based on Agile/TDD.
This role is purely a technical leadership and individual contributor role without any people management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Back end API and services development
Develop software solutions based on marketing requirements; collaborate with product owners, team leads and other architects/SMEs; study the systems flow, data usage, work processes; investigate the problematic areas and follow the Agile scrum software development processes
Demonstrate a solution by developing clean code, supporting documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams and code comments
Code quality, writing clean and maintainable code
Manage timelines/deliveries, highlight/mitigate risks, and provide timely, accurate and regular status updates
Ensure that applications and API’s are consistent with the needs of the customers
Requirements
Strong in .Net Developer .NET Core, C# (FW 4.0 and above)
Hands-On experience in WebAPI, cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), Restful services and high volume data processing
Strong Programming and analytical Skills
SOA and microservices knowledge
Good knowledge in SQL Server or MySQL
Knowledge in software design patterns and development methodologies
Strong Communication Skills
Experience with web application frameworks or Typescript/Javascript - Nice to Have
Kafka and Birst hands on experience - Nice to Have
